A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship aspirant for the Kogi election
Don't show up Dino said Wike ought to be planning how to survive after he quits the government house on May 29. The statement reads in part, “I can understand the pain of Wike. He wanted my support for his misplaced aspiration to become the Flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party in the 2023 Presidential election but knowing his avowed credential to be eminently unworthy of the ticket, I deployed support for His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, a cosmopolitan and cultured statesman who ignored all the tantrums of Wike throughout the period of the election. “Wike has probably mistaken me for His Excellency Atiku Abubakar. He needs to appreciate that now that he has touched the tiger’s tail and murdered sleep, the discomfort of a bird perched on a rope has now become his portion. Dino Melaye had on March 29, declared interest in the Kogi governorship race scheduled to take place on November 11 2023. Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, has claimed that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has granted live coverage more than any other public officer in the world. Melaye made the claim while appearing on Arise TV’s morning show on Wednesday. He described the Rivers governor as an attention seeker.   Melaye said, “Wike is an attention seeker. He wants to be talked about in the news at all times. “He has granted live coverage more than any other public officer in the world. He wants to do ground-breaking of a project, he goes live. He wants to do foundation, he goes live, one single project five, six people will come and you create ceremonies and waste the taxpayers’ money of Rivers State.”   This is coming after Wike had on April 11 during a media chat in Port Harcourt said Melaye lacked what it takes to become Governor of Kogi State. Melaye had, while replying to Wike, linked his rift with him to the governor’s inability to secure the party’s presidential ticket in 2022 and the refusal of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to pick him as his running mate. The face-off between both politicians began when Wike kicked against Melaye’s bid to secure the PDP ticket for the Kogi gubernatorial election.

Wonderful experience to visit Indonesia in Summer 2023
The phenomenon of the decline of nationalism in Indonesia looks increasingly worrying, especially for the younger generation. This gave birth to the idea of ??Alffy Rev to make one of the video clips for Alffy Rev ft. Novia Bacmid entitled Wonderland Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the representation of the sign of nationalism and to find out the expression of the meaning of nationalism in the Wonderland Indonesia video clip. This study uses a qualitative research method through the semiotic approach of Charles Sanders Peirce, in the form of a triangle theory of meaning; Representement, Object, and Interpretant, to show the sign and meaning of nationalism in the video clip. The result of this research is the message of nationalism in the music video "Wonderland Indonesia" so that the Indonesian people have a sense of commitment to Indonesia, have the courage to defend Indonesia, self-strength not to waver, purity of heart and an unyielding spirit and spirit that never dies. This video clip shows how important it is that no matter how far Indonesian youths go, the spirit of nationalism will always be present as the identity of the Indonesian people who still respect historical events and cultural heritage.

Magical Bali - Bali is unique, Bali is unmatched
Bali is not a paradise like the picture postcards of Maldives or the Bahamas suggest. The beaches of Kuta up to Canggu are quite different and less tropical than one might expect. Mass tourism has left its mark on most places such as Kuta, Seminyak, and even Ubud. There is traffic at times, the trash problem of a developing country is still not completely solved, and there is some crime and scamming going on...that's all not matching the idea of a paradise. Bali is a paradise, because it is tolerant and inviting and lets you be who you want to be. It has an incredible variety of almost everything any traveler wishes to explore or experience. It offers great value for money, and an art and culture that is unique in this world, authentic, and alive. If you want to leave the mass tourism behind, all you need is a short drive and you will enter a Bali that has almost not changed in decades. There are countless areas and sites that are absolutely remote, quiet and almost untouched, where magnificent nature shows her beauty. Bali is a paradise because of the whole package it offers, and not because it looks like a "white sandy beach coconut tree postcard" wherever you go.

Jakarta (/dʒəˈkɑːrtə/; Indonesian pronunciation: [dʒaˈkarta] (listen), Betawi: Jakarte, formerly Dutch: Batavia), officially the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (Indonesian: Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta), is the capital and largest city of Indonesia. Lying on the north-west coast of Java, the world's most populous island, Jakarta is the largest city in Southeast Asia, and serves as the diplomatic capital of ASEAN. The city is the economic, cultural, and political centre of Indonesia. It possesses a province-level status and has a population of 10,562,088 as of mid-2021.[8] Although Jakarta extends over only 664.01 km2 (256.38 sq mi) and thus has the smallest area of any Indonesian province, its metropolitan area covers 9,957.08 km2 (3,844.45 sq mi), which includes the satellite cities Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, South Tangerang, and Bekasi, and has an estimated population of 35 million as of 2021, making it the largest urban area in Indonesia and the second-largest in the world (after Tokyo). Jakarta ranks first among the Indonesian provinces in the human development index. Jakarta's business and employment opportunities, along with its ability to offer a potentially higher standard of living compared to other parts of the country, have attracted migrants from across the Indonesian archipelago, making it a melting pot of numerous cultures. Jakarta is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Southeast Asia. Established in the fourth century as Sunda Kelapa, the city became an important trading port for the Sunda Kingdom. At one time, it was the de facto capital of the Dutch East Indies, when it was known as Batavia. Jakarta was officially a city within West Java until 1960 when its official status was changed to a province with special capital region distinction. As a province, its government consists of five administrative cities and one administrative regency. Jakarta is an alpha world city and is the seat of the ASEAN secretariat. Financial institutions such as the Bank of Indonesia, Indonesia Stock Exchange, and corporate headquarters of numerous Indonesian companies and multinational corporations are located in the city. In 2021, the city's GRP PPP was estimated at US$602.946 billion. Jakarta's main challenges include rapid urban growth, ecological breakdown, gridlocked traffic, congestion, and flooding. Jakarta is sinking up to 17 cm (6.7 inches) annually, which has made the city more prone to flooding. In fact, it is one of the fastest-sinking capitals in the world. In response to these challenges, in August 2019, President Joko Widodo announced his agreement with an official study that the capital of Indonesia would be moved from Jakarta to the planned city of Nusantara, in the province of East Kalimantan on the island of Borneo. Parliament approved the move on 18 January 2022.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).   Where does it come from? Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32. The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.

Which Seat to Choose on a Delhi Kathmandu Flight for Best Views
I recently visited Nepal as my daughter, Chhavi, was playing an ITF juniors tennis tournament there. It was a breath of fresh air for me, to be able to combine her tennis with my travels! This was my 4th trip to Nepal and surprisingly I never gave much thought to the views of the Himalayas on this route before! While doing the web check in it occurred to me that there might be view and I went with the A side window seat! And that is where the views are! If you wish to enjoy the views of the Himalayas on a Delhi Kathmandu flight choose the A side window seat. On the Kathmandu Delhi flight the views are on the F side. I know there is a huge debate on window vs. aisle seats but on this route, quite like the Delhi Leh one, window seat wins. There are no views from an aisle seat. What is surprising for me is that it took me 4 trips to realize that there are views on this route. I blame it on always going through a cloud cover on my previous trips! In fact this was one trip where I got fabulous views both at Kathmandu and Pokhara. I have done two summer trips and two winter trips in Nepal. On three occasions I have spent some time in Pokhara (where we were headed on this trip) but surprisingly this was the first time I got the views! So, that was true for the flights as well, never got the kind of stunning views I got this time in winter from the A side seats and the F side seats. Amazing view of the Himalayas from the Kathmandu Delhi Flight While coming back I booked an evening flight (5.15 pm) from Kathmandu to Delhi. It was not by design, it was the cheapest flight available for my day of travel. And it was magic. I got the most clear view of the Himalayas at sunset for a long time. I have seen a lot of beautiful things in my life and this was up there too. As I said before, on the Kathmandu Delhi flight the views are on the F side. I was not getting the window seat initially but I checked again 2 hours before the flight and I was able to change my seats to F side window seat. I got the window at the front of the plane but back of the plane is my favorite as I get to include the wing in the frame. I got the view for what felt like good 45 minutes though I did not time it by the watch. To conclude Delhi Kathmandu Delhi flights also have incredible views of the Himalayas. It took me some time to realize it as the weather did not cooperate on my previous trips. But the views are there, on the A side on the Delhi Kathmandu flight and on the F side on the Kathmandu Delhi flight. And we have to take our chances to be blessed with the divine view!

3 Ideas on How to Enjoy Your Holiday during Ramadan in Indonesia!
Have you ever thought about going on a holiday when the whole country is in a festive mood? Try visiting Indonesia during the holy month of Ramadan! As every Muslim celebrates Ramadan in Indonesia, the country will feel more joyful than usual. Traveling during Ramadan in Indonesia surely is something that you will never forget for a long time. If you’re interested in enjoying a holiday during Ramadan in Indonesia to the fullest, then check out these 5 trip ideas during Ramadan in Indonesia that we have brought you! Let’s check them all out below! 1.  Selecting your hotel location  Choosing a hotel location matters a lot when you want to experience the festive atmosphere of Ramadan in Indonesia to its fullest. In a certain corner of the city, there will be a streetside market where you can find a lot of food stalls offering a great selection of mouthwatering snacks and takjil (desserts regularly made during Ramadan to break the fast). Several magnificent great mosques around the city are also available to be explored. During the afternoon, these mosques are often riddled with food stalls too! So be on the lookout for the best hotels in Indonesia that are strategically located near a well-known market or a grand Mosque. Do also note that during Ramadan, Muslims in Indonesia would often remind the time of Sahur early in the morning through loudspeakers.  If you're a light sleeper, then you might want to keep a distance from mosques. 2.  Dining out options for breakfast and lunch  Throughout Ramadan, you should expect to see several restaurants and cafes that either close earlier than usual, are not opened at all, or are still open with their windows and/or doors covered partly.  These are mostly done as a way to show respect to Muslims who are fasting. If you don’t fast and are looking for breakfast or lunch, no worries! Various fast-food or franchise restaurants still have normal operating hours most of the time, so finding food isn’t as difficult as you may think. If you prefer to eat other than from chain restaurants, then another option you can have is by ordering the food you want with delivery apps. Try ordering some dishes from the best fine dining restaurants in your area! 3.  Exploring the afternoon food market  One of the activities you have to try to truly feel the festive atmosphere of Ramadan in Indonesia is hunting for takjil (desserts regularly made during Ramadan to break the fast). As the sun begins to set and iftar time is about to come, the food stalls will start to appear around many well-known markets or grand Mosques around the city. Several must-try street foods such as cendol, cincau, kolak pisang, ketan hitam, and candil are often sold at these stalls. If you’re lucky, you may also find some scrumptious regional Ramadan snacks and takjil depending on the city where you are staying!
